Jewish Hospital has added another tool to the hospital’s accredited chest pain center – a new Chest Pain Observation Unit. The unit, which has six dedicated beds, will hold patients who are at low risk of cardiac arrest for observation for up to 24-hours, at which point they will either be discharged or admitted as inpatients.
