KSDK - There are lots of ways to raise money... but you'll be hard pressed to find one that's as fun as pie throwing. Tuesday afternoon, executives at Barnes Jewish Hospital took one to the face for a good cause! The pie throwing event raised money for the American Heart Association's Annual St. Louis Heart Walk. The hospital's goal is one-hundred thousand dollars. The 2010 St. Louis Heart Walk is May 15th.
